Activities

Several activities were carried out aimed at establishing the Association and its Secretariat as a point of reference and a guide to the foreign banks and representative offices in the Netherlands. In view of the active participation of its members during the FBA meetings, it may be concluded that the Board and the Programme Committee have been able to find the right way to achieve this objectives, through the following steps:

  • Once a month, on a fixed day (the second Friday of the month) an Association Lunch Meeting is held featuring a presentation by a prominent guest speaker on a subject of special interest to foreign banks/institutions. These Association Lunches are attended by members and their guests. Each lunch is preceded by a short introduction of a memberbank.
  • Two or three times a year, a forum meeting is organised for the senior management of foreign banks with guest speaker(s) discussing a range of topical issues.
