Mission Statement

To protect and promote the interests of foreign banks operating in the Netherlands

•   Being an Information platform

• Providing all up-to-date information from authorities as DNB, NVB and AFM
• Providing specialised and up-to-date content by organising workshops with our business partners such as law firms, accountants, consultancy firms, executive search firms and  many other providers (see list of partners in annex)

•   Organise and execute events

• FBA roundtable luncheons
• FBA workshops
• Annual General Meeting
• Social events, for example the annual FBA New Year Reception at DNB
  

•   Lobbying and Networking

• Developing relationships with decisionmakers and authorities
• To promote both social and business contacts and communication between foreign banks operating in the Netherlands and to serve or represent the foreign banks interests including all activities
• Cooperation with comparable organisations on a European Union level

The Association intends to coordinate the interests of foreign banks in the Netherlands and will in principle seek representation through the Netherlands Bankers’ Association.
